Philip Stathos, Director at Baird, helps coordinate financial planning needs of his clients to assist them in achieving life goals with their money, including retirement, education, philanthropy, and wealth transfer strategies with the goal of helping clients articulate and position their funds to reflect its meaning in their lives.

Prior to joining Baird in August, 2020 Phil was a Partner at Mayflower Advisors, a Wells Fargo FINET Affiliate where he worked since 2012. Phil was named a Forbes Magazine’s Best “In-State” Advisor in Massachusetts in 2018, 2019, 2020 and in Maine in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.* 

Prior to joining Mayflower Advisors in 2012, Phil was a Senior Vice-President at Wells Fargo Advisors, which acquired A.G. Edwards, where Phil began his career as a Financial Advisor in 1998. Prior to his work in private wealth management, Phil worked in Institutional Equity Sales for Keefe Bruyette and Woods and then Fidelity and Scudder Kemper Investments, where he worked in strategic marketing.

Phil is a graduate of Bowdoin College in 1987, where he was captain of the sailing team and the Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, where he obtained an MBA in 1993. In addition, Phil holds a Diploma in Financial Planning from Boston University, which he received in 2002.

Outside of the workplace Phil is active as a former member of the Board of the Courageous Sailing Center, and he is involved in charitable programs associated with the schools he has attended. Phil and his wife Alice, have three 20 something sons: Nic, Cam, and Alexander. The family can be found sailing, skiing, and running seeking outdoor adventures in New England and beyond.

Kim has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry and specializes in client service. Kim is committed to building her knowledge of the industry and has earned her Series 7, 66, 9/10, insurance license and the Wealth Management Certified Professional designation. Her diligence and attention to detail ensures that our clients have the great outcomes they have come to expect. She has made it a commitment to support and strengthen client relationships through her service expertise, mastery of contact management, and financial planning.

Kim and her partner reside in Westbrook, ME where she raised her children. Kim graduated from St. Joseph’s College of Maine, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in accounting and concentration in secondary education. Kim is an active member in her community, volunteering with various nonprofit groups, most recently on the Westbrook Music Boosters board. In her free time she enjoys travelling, reading, and riding in their yellow 1960s VW dune buggy.

Heather specializes in client service. She loves getting to know clients and has experience in the financial services industry since 1990. She is committed to supporting and strengthening client relationships through her service expertise and mastery of contact management.

Heather has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Baird in 2015 she was a Senior Registered Client Associate with Wells Fargo Advisors, as a result of mergers involving A.G. Edwards & Sons and Wachovia Securities. Heather graduated from the University of Southern Maine,
where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics – Magna Cum Laude. Heather lives in Gray with her husband where they raised two sons. Heather volunteers for various projects in her community
